We are investing in Cayman’s youth and sponsoring meaningful STEM initiatives with a view to encouraging greater interest in mathematics, science and information technology from a young age. We have launched a programme with UCCI as sponsors of the STEM Ambassador Programme and hope to extend this to other learning institutions as and when appropriate.

With this CEC and UCCI partnership, we will also continue to look for ways to increase student interest and aptitude in STEM learning. It is hoped this deeper connection will broaden participation from schools and the local community, and inspire a more diverse STEM talent pool to grow Cayman’s ingenuity and innovation.

If you would like more information on the UCCI STEM Ambassador’s Programme, please email Kristel Sanchez at UCCI - KSanchez@UCCI.edu.ky.

Cayman Enterprise City is the proud sponsor of the UCCI STEM Summer Camp. This is an amazing programme where students can engage in STEM-related activities, connect with like-minded individuals, attend the STEM conference, learn about current trends in STEM fields, as well as interact with some local and international STEM experts. You will also get to explore future career possibilities.

  • Activities include:
  • Astronomy
  • Environmental Science
  • Physics through Robotics
  • Chemistry
  • Math
  • Raspberry PI
  • App Development

Please email Bianca Mora at B.Mora@caymanenterprisecity.com or Kristel Sanchez KSanchez@UCCI.edu.ky to get more information and see if you can qualify for a place.

CEC is continuing its School’s Outreach this year, visiting all high schools in Cayman and talking to teachers and students about the zone and the types of new technology-focused careers that are starting to become available in the zone. We are seeking to facilitate a new generation of technically skilled Caymanians and are working to ensure that young people get the skills they need. If you represent a school, or are a parent or student that would like to learn more, please email Bianca Mora at B.Mora@caymanenterprisecity.com

Enterprise Cayman has created a Technical Advisory Sub-Committee (TASC) made up of technology experts, as well as members of the CEC management team and members of the Ministry of Education.

The objective of TASC is to supplement the technical skills and knowledge base available to Enterprise Cayman and to thereby assist with the realisation of Enterprise Cayman’s objective of creating opportunities for Caymanians within the Special Economic Zone. We will keep you informed on all new initiatives.
