Enterprise Cayman is a partnership between Cayman Enterprise City, Cayman’s Special Economic Zone, and the Cayman Islands Government, developed to connect Caymanians with opportunities within the zone.
One of our primary focuses is to help young Caymanians and older Caymanians who wish to re-tool for a career change, get coding skills they need to fill the jobs that are starting to be creating within the Special Economic Zone.
Another goal is to get young persons interested in careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM), plus help high school and college students with resume writing, job interview techniques and networking skills. Another way of helping is to become part of our Summer in the City internship programme and provide local students with internship opportunities within zone companies.
If you work in the Cayman Enterprise City community or are one of our channel partners, we would love your help! We need volunteers now to donate their time for one of our programmes such as:
- Helping at our intermediate computer coding club
- Helping at our beginner’s computer coding club
- Speaking at local schools and colleges about careers in your line of business
- Mentoring students
Marilyn Conolly who runs our youth initiatives would love to hear from you at firstname.lastname@example.org. Many zone community members have found this is the most wonderful and fulfilling way to get integrated with the fabric of Cayman’s community, and to share skills, give back and inspire Cayman’s future entrepreneurs!
We thank you in advance for any assistance you can give. It is very much appreciated.
